Narrative Comprehension in SKYLD

A paper I wrote together with Byung-Chull & Yun-Gyung for ICIDS 2014 (International Conference on Interactive Digital Storytelling), where we compare how differently players and spectators comprehend narrative in a game by using SKYLD.

Skyld

Our preliminary study results show that the players, compared to the spectators, had a tendency of being goal-oriented, being less willing to interpret and build possible worlds, and having a hard time to reconstruct the story time.
